Ben Hardy has revealed that his "X-Men" character Angel should know how to fly.
Hardy has recently posted a photo on his Twitter account, showing him practicing his flying skills as Angel. He was wearing a stunt suit and was on a free fall pose.
The photo was captioned "Angel needs to know how to fly! @T_Habb @Shanehabb @XMenMovies" and it got more than a hundred re-tweets and favorites.
Two months ago, film helmer Bryan Singer himself expressed his eagerness on the character and the upcoming film by posting a concept art on his Twitter account.
Singer's photo featured Angel inside a cage and it seemed that the flying mutant was in a circus, being watched by a number of spectators.
As per Cinema Blend, Angel is set to be a key link to the film's villain, Apocalypse.
It was revealed in the comics storyline that Angel was conscripted by Apocalypse to be one of his Four Horsemen. The titular villain also made the flying mutant as his personal protector.
Angel's role as Apocalypse's horseman and guard resulted to his steel wings, which Singer already showed in the previous concept arts. In addition, the events in the comic storyline changed Angel's name to Archangel.
Fans can expect Angel to be in the dark side in the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse" as Singer confirmed that the mutant is "not a very nice Angel" in the film back in April, as per Empire.
"X-Men: Apocalypse" will serve as the last film under the "X-Men: First Class" trilogy. It stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, and Lucas Till.
The upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse" will also feature rising stars, including Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Lana Condor, Kodi Smit-Mcphee, and Olivi Munn,.
"X-Men: Apocalypse" is slated to premiere in theaters on May 27, 2016.
