While "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 is days away, head costume designer Mandi Line has dished on the ABC Family's hit series' fashion and "Sex And The City" alum Sarah Jessica Parker has something to do with it.
"They're getting older, so things are getting a little more calm," Line told Entertainment Tonight of the "Pretty Little Liars" characters. "They're just more sophisticated. Things are cleaner. Things are simpler, but they will each have their roots."
Giving a sneak peek at the "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 fashion, Line showed the series' wardrobe trailer. The costume designer said the fans keep her on her toes for sure and she needs to step up her game each year.
In particular, Line said Lucy Hale's character Aria Montgomery is "still going to be that vintage glam so think Sarah Jessica Parker." She explained that the "Sex And The City" actress liked T-shirts with bigger skirts and heels instead of the "Pretty Little Liars" star's "print print print print, so one thing will be subtle and the other thing will be bold."
Line pointed out that the "Pretty Little Liars" fans are "always like, 'We need more this! What about this? Whatever happened to this?'"
With the power of social media nowadays, Line said she tries her best to look at the responses of the "Pretty Little Liars" fans responses, which made her think she has to "go back to a little bit more original Aria."
Meanwhile, Hale recently revealed some of her beauty secrets. In an interview with Style Caster, the ambassador for Avon's Mark range said her make-up routine is "all about concealer" as she needs to do several fun photo shoots and explore various looks.
