The software giant Google has announced a drop in price in its Nexus 6 phablet. The company has just slashed $150 off the price; however, it is not clear how long this offer will last.

At present, the Nexus 6 is available from the Google Play Store beginning at $549 for the 64GB model and $499 for the 32GB model. The company doesn't say when the deal will end.

In addition, the software company is offering a deal on the Nexus 9. It is giving away $50 in Google Play Store credit when people order its tablet. The offer is available for the 16GB as well as 32GB variants. This deal does not end until June 23.

Also, it is not clear which regions apart from the United States are getting this offer, Android Police reported.
Like Google, Best Buy and Amazon have also decreased the price of the Nexus 6 phablet to $549 for the 64GB model and $499 for the 32GB version.

Amazon is giving the Cloud White and the Midnight Blue color options for both the storage options of the Nexus 6 phablet at the discounted price. Best Buy is selling only the Midnight Blue color.

The Nexus 6 has high quality features that can compete with several other existing phones in the market. A $150 discount may attract several more consumers to purchase the phablet in the forthcoming weeks.

In the U.S., the software company Google launched the Nexus 6 phablet in October 2014 and began delivering the smartphone in November 2014. The Nexus 6 smartphone is being offered by several carriers and retailers on contract or without contract.
