"The Flash" season 2 will feature a new set of meta-humans, speedsters and villains, but the CW series will also feature some old characters that could impact the sophomore season in a major way.
According to Cinema Blend, the premiere episode of "The Flash" this coming season 2 will feature the return of Firestorm. The pilot episode will also feature Ronnie Raymond or Dr. Martin Stein.
In season 1, Firestorm reappeared and had a conversation with Caitlyn, his ex-girlfriend. Unfortunately, the former told the latter that she should stop looking for him because their relationship is already over.
At that time, fans immediately knew that their story was far from over. After it was confirmed that Caitlyn's (Danielle Panabaker) alter ego Killer Frost will appear in season 2, fans immediately figured that the two characters will encounter each other once again.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, actor Victor Garber, who will play the role of Dr. Stein, urged fans to continue watching "The Flash" for them to know what will happen to his character.
Other spoilers for the upcoming second season of "The Flash" have already been unveiled. As of late, fans already know that Cisco's (Carlos Valdes) Vibe will be unleashed in season 2.
Additionally, the premiere episode of "The Flash" is rumored for release this coming October 6. According to reports, this premiere date is highly possible because the CW's "Arrow" has premiered all of its pilot episodes for the first three seasons a day before the New York Comic Con.
