"Top Gun" star Val Kilmer, 55, was recently spotted looking thin while wearing two scarves. Previously rumored to be battling a throat problem, he is set to star in the 2016 film "Weightless," which stars Ryan Gosling, Cate Blanchett, Michael Fassbender and Natalie Portman, among others.

On May 31, Sunday, Kilmer was spotted in Malibu with a blue bandana and a pink scarf wrapped around his neck. He was also caught trying to hide his face from the paparazzi, New York Daily News has learned.

The "Mark Twain And Mary Baker Eddy" release date is yet to be announced. The "Weightless" release date has not been confirmed, as well, although it is expected to be released in 2016.

Joining Kilmer, Gosling Blanchett, Fassbender and Portman in the "Weightless" cast are Rooney Mara, Christian Bale, Benicio del Toro, Tom Sturridge, Holly Hunter, Haley Bennett, Boyd Holbrook, Clifton Collins Jr. and Dora Madison Burge, among others.
