The third generation Moto G release may be in July as FlipKart listed an upcoming iteration of the device with the model number model number AP3560AD1K8.

In September 2014, the Moto G 2 was launched ten months after the release of the first generation Moto G. Following that trend, the Motorola Moto G 2015 will likely hit the market in July.

According to Day Herald, the Motorola Moto G 2014 will be replaced by a device with an improved successor sporting a 1.7GHz, quad-core Snapdragon 610 processor, 4G LTE connectivity, and 2GB of RAM.

Other rumored Moto G 2015 features are 5 inches to 5.2 inches screen, better 1080p resolution, impressive 16-megapixel camera and Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.

Motorola's budget smartphone, which retails under $200, is expected to have its cons considering its price. The Moto G 2015 may not have the best processing power which will affect the device's speed and performance.

Reportedly, the Moto G does not run particularly well with Android Lollipop's newest update. Moreover, considering the huge HD screen, the battery life is not expected to be ideal as well.

In a statement released at the TechWorld event in Beijing last month, Lenovo's Chief Executive Yang Yuanqing hinted on the upcoming launch of the Motorola Moto G.

"We have many new models in development with the Moto brands...so you may see in summer us launching some very exciting products, including phones and watches," Yuanqing said.

Although there was no mention of the Moto G 2015, his statement also hinted the existence of Moto X 2015 and the Moto 360 smartwatch successor. Thus far, the online listing in FlipKart was already removed.
