"Avengers: Age of Ultron" star Paul Bettany recently teased fans with what they thought was an official trailer "Captain America: Civil War."
On Wednesday, the actor who played the role of The Vision posted a six-second clip via Twitter that only showed the insides of a trailer where the cast members hangout in between takes.
Fans were unhappy with Bettany's move because they thought he will be revealing even just an unofficial trailer from "Captain America: Civil War." To make things worse, fans are infuriated because of the caption Bettany used for the teaser.
"Here it is! An exclusive 1st look at my 'Captain America: Civil War' trailer! #marvel #CaptainAmericaCivilWar," he wrote.
On the other hand, some fans reacted positively to Bettany's lame attempt at urging everyone to talk. Others also noted that Bettany could not be blamed because he mentioned in the caption that the teaser was from him.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time that someone dropped a fake teaser for "Captain America: Civil War." According to Design N Trend, a fan-made video was leaked at this year's Comic Con and it looked really convincing.
The publication also noted that "Captain America: Civil War" is still filming as of late so it is quite impossible for the creators to release a teaser right now.
"Captain America: Civil War" serves as the third movie in the franchise. The cast includes Chris Evans as Captain America, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Emily Van Camp as Agent 13, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye and more, Cinema Blend noted.
The film is slated for release in the United States in May 6, 2016.
