Marvel has released three new marketing photos for Peyton Reed's upcoming "Ant-Man," featuring the titular superhero along with the known weapons used by Avengers Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man. This link between "Ant-Man" and Earth's Mightiest Superheroes has become more vivid in the new TV post.
One photo has "Ant-Man" and Captain America's vibranium-made shield. The other image shows him with the Mjolnir, Thor's hammer. Another photo revealed Marvel's smallest superhero standing on Iron Man's steel suit.
All three photos released by Marvel used the line "From the studio that brought you "The Avengers," linking Earth's Mightiest Heroes with the upcoming "Ant-Man." To add, Marvel used the tagline "No Shield. No Hammer. No Problem."
While the smallest protagonist does not use a vibranium shield, a thunder-summoning hammer, and a protective steel suit, he has got his "Ant-Man" suit, which has Pym Particles, which allow him to shrink his size at will and return to his original size. This is what the shield, hammer, and steel suit cannot do.
The new marketing photos reflect Marvel's creativity in selling its next superhero to hit the big screen, as per Cinema Blend. While the studio has been known to use floating heads in its film posters, the new trio of "Ant-Man" posters reveals Marvel's ability to generate better designs.
Meanwhile, the new TV post featured Scott Lang saying that the first move should be "calling the Avengers." The new clip also showcased the tiniest superhero's ability and heated battles between him and Yellowjacket.
"Ant-Man" was a founding member of the Avengers and Hank Pym will entrust him the "Ant-Man" suit to help defeat evil forces, as per HNGN. Aside from his solo film, "Ant-Man" will also appear in "Captain America: Civil War," reportedly joining Iron Man's side in pushing the superhero registration act.
"Ant-Man" stars Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Michael Peña, and Bobby Cannavale.
Directed by Reed, "Ant-Man" is slated to premiere on July 14 while" Captain America: Civil War" is set to hit the big screen on May 6, 2016. Watch the new "Ant-Man" TV spot here:
