50 Cent On Bankruptcy: Rapper Reveals He Is Not Panicking

"Power" season 2 episode 1 titled "Consequences" aired on June 6 and one of its stars 50 Cent, who happens to be Eminem's protégé, promoted the Starz drama by dissing the hit Fox series "Empire," which is set to return for its season 2 on Sept. 23.

On June 10, Thursday, 50 Cent posted a photo of himself with a caption, "50cent EMPIRE is some s**t you should get for free. Now that power is worth paying for, STARZ premium cable. SAT, 9pm lol #EFFENVODKA #FRIGO#SMSAUDIO."

On the red carpet at the premiere for "Power" season 2, 50 Cent compared "Power" and "Empire" In an interview with Vulture, the rapper said, "Comparing the two is comparing two hit television shows at this point, but of course I'm first. I'm first, and my show is better. I'll make Terrence Howard tell you I'm first and my show is better."

Joining 50 Cent in the "Power" cast are Omari Hardwick, Lela Loren, Naturi Naughton, Joseph Sikora, Andy Bean, Sinqua Walls, J.R. Ramirez, Adam Huss, Luis Antonio Ramos and Lucy Walters, among others.

While he agrees that the performance of "Empire" stars Jussie Smollett and Bryshere "Yazz" Gray at the 2015 Billboard Awards was "cool," 50 Cent still wanted everyone to know that he was still better.

"Ain't nobody on 'Empire' cast better than me," 50 Cent saying he does not even know Smollett and Gray.

Eminem was previously rumored to join Smollett, Gray, Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Howard, Trai Byers, Ta'Rhonda Jones and Gabourey Sidibe in the "Empire" season 2.

Meanwhile, British rapper Harry Shotta recently claimed that his new song "Animal" has broken Eminem's "Rap God" record as the hit single with the most words. He told UKF, "No disrespect to Eminem at all. This is purely about pushing our art and having some fun."
