Copa America 2015: Chile vs Bolivia Preview, Prediction and Predicted Lineup

| Jun 17, 2015 02:28 AM EDT

Chile's Arturo Vidal (#8) will lead the hosts against Bolivia

This game between Chile and Bolivia will complete the Group A elimination round robin, which would determine the top two contestants that would automatically qualify in the quarterfinals of the 2015 Copa America. The match will be held at the Estadio Nacional in Santiago, Chile on Friday, June 19.

The third-placed team will still have a chance to enter the knockout stage quarters depending on the total points accumulated by the same third-placed teams in Groups B and C.

Both teams are tied with one win, one draw, and four points apiece entering their matchup. Whoever wins will move on to the quarterfinals.

Chile survived a gritty challenge by Mexico in their last game as they settled for a draw against Miguel Herrera's men.

El Tri led 1-0, 2-1, and 3-2 in the game where all La Roja could do was equalize. Forward Vicente Matías Vuoso scored Mexico's third point at the 55th-minute mark. But thanks to Chile's midfielder Arturo Vidal, the count was tied at 3-3 with the Juventus star's second goal of the game eleven minutes later, as per Bleacher Report.

Meanwhile, Bolivia is coming off a highly-impressive 3-2 victory over Ecuador on Monday. Team Captain Ronald Raldes, Martin Smedberg-Dalence and team star player Marcelo Moreno all shot a goal in the first half of play to bury Los Amarillos early.

El Verde is expected to give the hosts a good challenge as they start to rely on their younger players of Moreno, Danny Bejarano, and Sebastián Gamarra, according to SB Nation. But veterans Raldes, Smedberg-Dalence, and Ricardo Pedriel will always be there.

The predicted result is a 2-0 win by Chile over Bolivia. Vidal and company will prove too much for Moreno and his gang.

Chile starting lineup (4-3-1-2 formation): Bravo; Beausejour, Jara, Medel, Isla; Gutiérrez, Diaz, Aranguiz; Vidal; Sanchez, Vargas

Bolivia starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): Quiñónez; Morales, Raldes, Eguino, Rodríguez; Chumacero, Bejarano; Lizio, Escobar, Smedberg-Dalence; Moreno
