Toy retailer Bandai has just announced a pretty ripped character figure Brock from Nintendo's "Pokemon" Red, Blue, and Green versions of the game.
Brock's muscular look in his toy figure came from the fact that he is the Pewter City Gym leader, who specializes in rock-type Pokemon, as per Rocket News 24. Aside from having well-defined deltoid muscles, biceps, and chiseled abs, the action figure is wearing brown pants and black belt.
It can be seen that the toy figure of the rock-type gym leader is faithful to the gym leader's appearance in Nintendo's first-generation "Pokemon" games, Red, Blue, and Green versions, which is opposite on how he looked in the "Pokemon" anime episodes.
In the "Pokemon" anime, Brock is one of the traveling companions of the main character Satoshi/ Ash, along with fan favorite Pikachu and Cerulean City Gym leader Misty. Aside from being a great cook and an aspiring "Pokemon" breeder, Brock is known to be easy attracted to young ladies like Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny.
Brock's new look in his action figure suggests a remake of Nintendo's first-generation "Pokemon" video games, according to Kotaku.
A "Pokemon Yellow" version remake will be appreciated by "Pokemon" video game fans, since "Pokemon" Red, Blue, and Green already had their game remake in Nintendo's "Pokemon Fire Red" and "Pokemon Leaf Green."
Bandai's Brock toy figure can be used by fitness enthusiasts as inspiration in getting the fit and rock-hard physique they desire. Also, "Pokemon" collectors will find the new character figure as a cool addition to their collection, along with "Pokemon" action figures and stuffed toys.
Brock's toy figure costs $28 (3,456 yen) and can be pre-ordered through the Premium Bandai website until August 31, with delivery scheduled in November.
