The highly anticipated iPad Mini 4 release may happen soon, just as speculated in October, with the recent leak revealing an alleged iPad Mini 4 case.
A set of images showcasing what is said to be a bumper case of the upcoming device was published by the Leakster OnLeaks, as reported by GSM Arena.
According to the images of the case, the iPad Mini 4 will more likely be similar to its predecessor – iPad Mini 3, in terms of design, with very subtle changes. The minor differences noticed is that the new device case lacks a cutout for mute switch and just a single row of speakers holes, VR Zone reported.
The leak revealed no other information about the Apple’s long-rumored device release, which is expected to be the thinnest and lightest tablet yet.
Earlier, iPad Mini 4 was reported to take on a slight iPad Air 2 form, with features similar to another Apple device – iPad Air 3, speculated for a release later this year. The next generation of iPad Mini is said to boast of the latest A9 processor, coupled with 2GB RAM and 128 GB storage capacity.
The iPad Mini 3 successor will have enhanced hardware features, in comparison to its predecessors, and will run on the latest operating system version – iOS 9. The device will debut with a lower price tag of $399.
If the rumors turn true, the much awaited iPad Mini 4 release will happen in just a few months through the Verizon carrier. However, Apple is yet to officially comment on these reports.
