Hugh Jackman, who plays Wolverine in the "X-Men" film franchise, is confirmed to return in Bryan Singer's upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse." Wolverine's return to the film is behind a backpack and he possibly appears as a villain.
Fans were doubtful whether or not the adamantium-clawed mutant will appear in Singer's "X-Men: Apocalyse," but not their questions have been answered as a photo was posted by Kika NY Leather Goods on Instagram.
The photo is a sketch of a duffle backpack, which is noted to have an upper panel, a front pocket, and an inside pocket. The custom leather goods company revealed that they were asked to create the duffle backpack for Jackman, who is shooting Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse" in Montreal. The photo got 73 likes.
Although the duffle backpack signaled Jackson's appearance in Singer's film, the director nor the bag retailer revealed the role of the bag in the film as well as what Wolverine will do in it, according to Cinema Blend.
According to Comic Book, fans can possibly see the "X-Men" fight a malevolent, more dominant, and lethal Logan as Death. This is based in the comics, in which the titular villain Apocalypse transmutes powerful mutants into his Four Horsemen - War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death.
Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse" will feature newcomers like Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, Lana Condor, Olivia Munn, Tye Sheridan, and Kodi Smit-Mcphee.
Aside from Jackman, "X-Men: Apocalypse" also stars the "First Class" cast, which includes James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, and Lucas Till.
Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse" is set to hit the big screen on May 27, 2016.
