Google Nexus 5 2015 release will reportedly take place in the third quarter with Android M in tow.
Previous reports claimed that Google Nexus 5 release will be in the fourth quarter, which is around October and November, following the launch pattern of previous Nexus devices. Waiting for a year before the releasing the successor of a device is also best in order to maximize the profits.
According to Geek Snack, Nexus 5 2015 release will be a little earlier and it may happen this summer. The launch may happen anytime between now and end of August. The new Android M will reportedly arrive on the same date and Nexus 5 2015 will be Google's flagship device like how Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 to Android Lollipop OS.
It is still unknown which company Google will partner with in making the Nexus 5 2015. However, rumors claimed that favor will be given to South Korean tech company LG Electronics as Google will reportedly reboot its popular Nexus 5 smartphone.
Meanwhile, Google is working on two Nexus smartphones codenamed Angler and Bullhead made by LG and Huawei. The tech giant reportedly plans to unveil two new smartphones that will cater to both high-end and mid-range market. Android Police cited sources claiming that Google will release a high-end smartphone made by LG, while a low-end handset will be manufactured by Huawei.
The report added that the two smartphones will have almost identical specs. The device codenamed Angler is said to be the new Google Nexus 5 2015 and will resemble the LG G4. The handset will come with specs and features, including: 5.2 inch screen display, six-core Snapdragon 808 processor by Qualcomm, and 2,700 mAh battery pack.
The other smartphone dubbed as Bullhead by Huawei has a bigger screen display of 5.7 inches. It will be powered by Snapdragon 810 SoC and supported by 3,500 mAh battery. The handset is dubbed as the successor of the current Nexus 6.
