Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo

Superstar footballer Cristiano Ronaldo had recently denied the "absolutely false" reports of his supposed unhappiness with Spanish team Real Madrid after a seven-month silence, as reported by Daily Mail Online.

Ronaldo, who is also the Portuguese team captain, had been playing for Real since the 2009-2010 season. He provided a total of 61 goals for the La Liga club's cause ever since, the most he did for any team in his storied career, but Los Blancos had failed to win any major competitions during his entire tenure.

This allegedly paved the way for former manager Carlo Ancelotti's firing in May of this year and the replacement of Rafael Benitez as the new manager. Ronaldo and Ancelotti always had a good relationship between them, and so rumors arose that team president Florentino Pérez was no longer in harmony with his prized forward following Benitez's hiring.

Ronaldo told Portuguese reporters that he "sincerely like the false reports to stop and to be left a little in peace." He added that the speculations of him creating conflicts with Real Madrid are "absolutely false" and that he is "very happy at the best club in the world and very focused and confident of a new season full of successes."

Real Madrid had gone through major losses last season after their defeat against the Lionel Messi-led Barcelona in the Spanish League and their setback versus Juventus in the UEFA Champions League semifinal, as per Bleacher Report.

Football analysts have predicted highly of Real's 2015-2016 season when Colombia's James Rodriguez and Germany's Toni Kroos returns after a one year experience of playing in La Liga.
