With Joe and Anthony Russo's "Captain America: Civil War" coming to theaters next year, Marvel Studios Head Kevin Feige has revealed Black Panther's role and how he will affect the plot of the upcoming film.

The Marvel Head told Birth Movies Death that a third party is needed in "Civil War," someone who has not been affiliated with the Avengers and has a different perspective apart from Steve Rogers' or Tony Stark's. Those criteria are met by T'Challa, also known as Black Panther, which led Marvel to use him in the upcoming film.

While Black Panther is playing the role of an inexpert hero in "Captain America: Civil War," he is set to be the one to give an answer to the events that took place in Joss Whedon's "Avengers: Age of Ultron," according to Cinema Blend.

The titular villain in Whedon's film has acquired a large amount of vibranium from the kingdom of Wakanda. The mineral is part of Ultron's plan to make himself almost indestructible. Also, vibranium is the material used in making Captain America's shield.

Ultron's evil plan is also linked to the death of T'Challa's father, which led the Wakandan superhero to avenge his father by defeating the villain.

Chadwick Boseman will play Wakandan superhero Black Panther. Aside from Boseman, "Captain America: Civil War" stars Martin Freeman, Tom Holland, Scarlett Johansson, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Emily VanCamp, Sebastian Stan, Jeremy Renner, Daniel Bruhl, Paul Bettany, Robert Downey Jr., and Chris Evans, among others.

"Captain America: Civil War" is slated to premiere in theaters on May 6, 2016 while DuVernay's "Black Panther" is set to hit the big screen on July 6, 2018.
