"GTA 6" release may happen more likely by 2018.

The most anticipated "Grand Theft Auto 6" release will more likely happen in 2018 and is expected to feature the super couple Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes as the lead.

Previous reports claimed that Gosling will be featured as the lead protagonist, along with a new female character. Rumor has it that the star will be joined by his partner Mendes, as the new female character, according to Realty Today.

The upcoming "GTA 6" will be connected to "Red Dead Redemption," series, as the lead protagonist character will reportedly be the descendant of John Marston, the lead character in "Red Dead Redemption" series. As for the female character, the rumor mills are yet to churn out any reports.

The long-rumored game's location is speculated to be in the U.S., as Rockstar was alleged mapping the entire United States for the title. However, Middle East location is also in the cards, as "GTA 6" is expected to have terrorists as the main antagonists, Crossmap reported.

The sixth installment of the "GTA" franchise is also said to be similar to the "GTA: Vice City" and have big names playing important roles. The gameplay will likely be set in the 80's in the Vice City again, as fans think Gosling's character in the "Drive" movie would go well with the location.

The much awaited "Grand Theft Auto 6" release date is expected to be sometime in 2018, which is 5 years from the GTA 5 release back in 2013. Nevertheless, it is better to take these reports with a pinch of salt, as there is no official word from Rockstar as of now.
