Boruto: Naruto The Movie

After months of speculations and wishful thinking, "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" US release will reportedly take place on Naruto's birthday on Oct. 10.

According to Design N Trend, it was announced at Anime Expo in Los Angeles that the much awaited Naruto movie will premiere at New York Comic Con to be held on Oct. 8 to 10. Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto will make an appearance as a featured guest and panel and will answer the questions of the loyal fans.

The New York Comic Con is one of the biggest comic conventions in the U.S. The event is held annually in New York City's Jacob Javits Center.

Boruto is the son of Naruto, who became Konoha's seventh Hokage after winning the fourth Ninja War. Boruto carries this as a burden and has feelings of wanting to surpass his father who is respected as a hero of the village. He will more likely inherit some of Naruto's powers like his father's sage abilities and rasengan chakra molding skills.

Previous spoilers also revealed that Boruto will train under Naruto's friend and rival Sasuke. Boruto will most likely acquire some of Sasuke's powers like fire and lightning techniques. There are rumors that Boruto will also inherit Sasuke's Sharingan eyes.

According to Christian Today, the new era in the overly popular serialized manga Naruto will introduce a mysterious character called Mitsuki, which means full moon in Japanese. However, it is still unclear whether this new will be an ally or a villain.

The Boruto series is currently running in Weekly Shonen Jump. "Boruto: Naruto The Movie" will be released on Aug. 7.
