Jon Jones is back in the gym after being stripped of his UFC light heavyweight crown

Ex-UFC light-heavyweight champ Jon Jones is back in training  a few days after being called out by newly-crowned UFC heavyweight champ Fabricio Werdum.

Werdum said that he wants a "super fight" with Jones, who had expressed interest fighting in the heavyweight division.

Jones was also tasked to clean the mats after training at the Jackson-Winklejohn MMA academy in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Training partner Igor Araujo said that Jones didn't complain after he was picked to clean the mats after the training session.

Araujo added that Jones trains everyday and is in shape.

After Jones was stripped of his title, Daniel Cormier  defeated Anthony Johnson to claim the belt.

However, Araujo said Cormier can't be called the undisputed light-heavy champ until he beats Jones.

The UFC has stripped Jones of his title two months ago and suspended indefinitely after he crashed his SUV into the car of a pregnant woman, who suffered a broken arm,and left the scene of the incident.

Officers found a pipe with marijuana in the abandoned SUV.

Jones still needs to explain himself for in court. If convicted, Jones could spend three years behind bars.

He had tested positive for cocaine in a non-competition drug test in January before his UFC 182 title defense. He said that he made a "really dumb decision" and claimed he is not in a substance-abuse addiction.
During his two-month absence, Jones' manager Malki Kawa said that Jones is unsure about returning to mixed martial arts.

Former PRIDE star and WEC middleweight champion Paulo Filho whose career derailed due to depression, brought about by the use of cocaine said that Jones

He said that Jones has the same disease that he has--a genetic weakness to ingest any substance--that once he uses it he and can't live without it.

Filho feels sure that Jones sooner or later will use cocaine again.
