With the successful ending of Season 10, “Supernatural” Season 11 has created a buzz with various reports pointing to the cast and crew, especially about John Winchester returning as the God.
The last season ending with The Darkness on the loose and the return of Witch Amara has lent weight to rumors of God appearing to stop darkness.
Jeffery Dean Morgan who has had only recurring roles in flash backs since Season 2 is said to be the perfect fit for the role of God, MoviePilot reported.
The report also lists Jim Beaver and Samantha Smith as the other top actors to play as God. While Morgan, is deemed as the fan favorite, Smith's comeback as God will also be reportedly welcomed. However, these reports turn true or hoax will be known within a few days.
“Supernatural” cast members are gathering in San Diego Comic Con next week to reveal details about the upcoming season. Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, Mark Sheppard and showrunner Jeremy Carver will be going to the event, according to VineReport.
The crew will also showcase a gag reel in the event. Todd Aronauer said they put together "a great gag reel this year that is pretty funny" and will be something that the fans will "get a huge kick out of."
Earlier reports suggested that Jared Padalecki will not be returning to Season 11 due to health issues. Since he is reported to arrive at Comic Con event, the Winchester brother will more likely join the cast, to start filming on July 7, Tuesday. More information about the much awaited “Supernatural” Season 11 is expected to be revealed on July 12, Sunday.
