Comic-Con: ‘Breaking Bad’ Alum Bryan Cranston Leaves Attendee Speechless

| Jul 11, 2015 03:13 PM EDT

Bryan Cranston, popularly known as Walter White from Breaking Bad, hosted an AMA on Reddit.

Aaron Paul's fellow "Breaking Bad" alum Bryan Cranston was at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con where promoted his new Crackle series titled "SuperMansion." During the event, the 59-year-old actor left an attendee speechless with his joke.

During the Nerd HQ Conversations for a Cause panel, the attendee asked Cranston if he enjoyed his time in New Mexico.

"Yeah, I'd go and visit your mother once in a while," the actor, who played Walter White in "Breaking Bad" replied, as People quoted him as saying, which surprised the attendee and received applause and laughter from the audience. The attendee was an Albuquerque native.

In "SuperMansion," Cranston plays an aging superhero named Titanium Rex, who leads a team of has-been superheroes known as The League of Freedom as they struggle to remain relevant in a changing world.

Meanwhile, Paul was recently rumored to be playing Han Solo in the new "Star Wars" film. However, a source told Hollywood Life that Cranston's former "Breaking Bad" co-actor may have some stiff competition for the role.

"If they go the younger route for Han Solo, it's going to go to Chris Pratt," the source told the publication. "It's his role to accept or decline. If they are going to replace Harrison Ford, they want a guarantee draw and Chris Pratt is exactly the person for the job."

The source further explained that Paul or any other actor is not on the list of potential actors to play Han Solo until Bryce Howard Dallas' "Jurassic World" co-star "chooses if he wants to do it or not."
