Microsoft will carry out its keynote on Sept. 4 at the upcoming IFA 2015 event that will be held in Berlin, Germany. It is expected to unveil several new Windows 10 devices, but there is no confirmation of the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release at the IFA 2015 event.

The title of the keynote is "Windows 10 Lights up New Devices" and it will be delivered by Nick Parker, the corporate VP of the OEM Division at Microsoft. The event will be held to unveil premium laptops, gaming devices, tablets, all-in-ones and 2-in-1s, Microsoft News reported.

The first reason why the Surface Pro 4 will not be unveiled at the IFA 2015 is that Parker is not involved in with Surface or Lumia devices. Hence, he may not be unveiling a new Surface or Surface Pro 4 model.

In the recent past, Parker had unveiled several new devices running on Windows 10 from different brands like Acer, Asus, Dell, HP and Toshiba at the Computex 2015 at Taipei. In the same way newer Windows 10 models from varied brands are expected to get showcased at the upcoming IFA 2015 event.

The second reason why Surface Pro 4 launch at IFA 2015 event may have been axed is that in the recent past, Microsoft had unveiled a new Surface Pro 3 variant featuring Intel Core i7 CPU, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage for $1,299. Since the company has already refreshed its Surface Pro lineup recently, there are slim chances that the company may announce the Surface Pro 4 at IFA 2015, VR-Zone reported.

Since 2014, the Surface Pro 4 was expected to release along with or after the Windows 10 OS is release. However, the existence of Surface Pro 4 has never been confirmed by Microsoft. Hence, rumors are now suggesting that the Surface Pro 4 release date has been pushed to 2016.
