Cindy Crawford has dished out beauty tips keep to her skin youthful and hair glossy. The 49-year-old supermodel has spent decades in the industry and has learnt some tricks from her makeup artists and hairstylists.
Crawford's hair regimen consists of using a pre-wash conditioner for the ends which she washes after her workout routine. According to her, working out with a greasy ponytail does not hurt. Besides, she keeps her brunette tresses smooth by tying her hair into a loose topknot while sleeping which gets naturally styled into waves the next morning when she wakes up.
On a note of caution, Crawford said not to use a ponytail holder. She said, "Instead, I secure it with one very large bobby pin."
For her youthful skin, she indulges in dry brushing and exfoliation. She does neck exercises regularly along with her routine workout to keep her décolletage youthful, a trick that was passed onto to her by a woman 20 years ago, E! News reported.
The exercise helps to keep her neck muscles and jawline toned. "I also always buff my heels and apply healing ointments to them to take advantage of the fact that I will be wearing socks for at least an hour," she said.
The mother of two's beauty must-haves currently include a dry brushing product, Neutrogena Body Oil and Lush's Jasmine and Henna Fluff-Ease Hair Treatment for her hair. The supermodel has shared her beauty shortcuts and product must-haves with her fans, Into the Gloss reported.
Relaxation for Crawford means indulging in an infrared sauna which is gentle, soothing, and therapeutic. She said that the sauna helps her relax and in addition improves her sleep too, whereas a normal sauna which is too harsh for the skin.
