"Batman: Arkham Knight" publisher Warner Bros. and developer Rocksteady Studios announced that a new downloadable content will be available in August for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version of the game.
The announcement was made just days after the release of the Batgirl downloadable content for "Batman: Arkham Knight." According to IGN, two DLC packs will be released in August and will be created by the game's developer Rocksteady Studios.
The first of the two DLC packs is called 1989 Movie Batmobile Pack. The DLC pack includes the Batmobile and Batman skin used in the 1989 "Batman." Two music tracks inspired by the film are also included.
The second DLC pack is dubbed The Bat-family Skins Pack. Six character skins that span several alternate "Batman" timelines will be included on the pack. These skins are 1970's Batman, Original Arkham Nightwing, 1990's Catwoman, a grey and black Batman, Arkham Origins Batman and One Year Later Robin.
The two DLC packs will be released exclusively for "Batman: Arkham Knights" Season Pass subscribers. Warner Bros. and Rocksteady Studios has yet to confirm whether DLC packs will be released to non-Season Pass holders.
The Season Pass add-on currently costs $40. According to GottaBeMobile, "Batman: Arkham Knights" will release DLC contents within the next six months and all these contents will be availalbe completely free for Season Pass holders.
On the other hand, the "Batgirl A Matter of Family" DLC pack which was launched prior to the announcement of the new DLC's is also exclusive to Season Pass holders and will cost $6.99.
Both Warner Bros. and Rocksteady Studios have yet to announce a date for the official release of the upcoming DLC's.
