Even before July draws to a close, Microsoft is already rolling out the first wave of the Xbox One August System Update to early adopters via the preview program. For now, there are no new additions in terms of features.

The changes are only identified as minor as they do not involve any user-facing features, DualShockers reported. However, the update has its own issues already identified by the company. These include issues when streaming Mass Effect using Snap, inability to hear the host when using the Turtle Beach Elite 800X headset and a freezing preview page of the Kinect wen using the resume Instant-ON mode with the Xbox Fitness.

Non-preview members still have a chance to explore the newest system update on the Xbox One. What they would have to do is to visit the official Xbox forums where interested players can leave their gamertags for other preview members to send them an invite.

Those who are able to sample the preview should expect that this is a beta run of the update. It is also advised that those who do sample it to test and see if there any issues plaguing the update.

This week is also eventful for Xbox fans. Microsoft has kicked off with a new weekly Deals With Gold and Spotlight Sale for both the Xbox One and Xbox 360. All of the new games will be available until July 20, Major Nelson announced via his blog.

The Xbox One titles under the Deals with Gold include "Murdered: Soul Suspect," "Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition" and "R.B.I. Baseball 15." The Xbox 360 has a longer list of titles on sale, such as "Deus Ex: Human Revolution," "Tomb Raider: Legend," "XCOM: Enemy Unknown" and "BioShock Infinite Season Pass," to name a few.

The other titles that are included in the list are meant for the Spotlight Sale. The titles include both the base games and add-ons, with discounts running up to as high as 50% for both Xbox One and Xbox 360 selections.
