| Jul 16, 2015 06:37 PM EDT

Jamaica goalkeeper Ryan Thompson (23) celebrates a win over El Salvador during the 2015 Gold Cup.

Caribbean stalwarts Jamaica and Haiti will face each other in the quarterfinals of the 2015 Gold Cup to be held at the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore on Saturday.

The winner of the match between the Caribbean Cup champions Reggae Boyz and third place finishers Les Grenadiers will face the victor of the US vs Cuba affair.

Both teams are coming off impressive 1-0 victories over their last group elimination rivals.

Winfried Schäfer's boys snatched the top spot in Group B competitions from pre-tournament favorite Costa Rica by holding its own against lowly El Salvador on Tuesday at the BMO Field, as per Fox Sports.

Left winger Garath McCleary scored the lone goal of the game at the 71st-minute to boost the Jamaicans on top before La Sele settled for a draw with host Canada on the day's other match.

Meanwhile, Marc Collat's team surprised Honduras, 1-0, in their final Group A match on Monday at the Sporting Park in Kansas City, via the MLS website.

Center forward Duckens Nazon put the Haitians on the board to snatch second place in their bracket. Prior to the tournament, analysts have counted out Haiti to secure any win.

The prediction is the Reggae Boyz over Le Rouge et Bleu, 1-0. The two team are quite familiar with each other so they know what to expect from both sides. If Haiti could adjust to the traps of Jamaica, then they may have a chance to pull off an upset.

Jamaica starting lineup (4-2-2-2 formation): Miller; Taylor, Mariappa, Austin, Morgan; Watson, McAnuff; McCleary, Lawrence; Barnes, Mattocks

Haiti starting lineup (4-2-2-2 formation): Placide; Jaggy, Bertin, Jérôme, Alcénat; Lafrance, Marcelin; Guerrier, Millien; Belfort, Nazon
