Xbox One To Windows 10 Streaming, Xbox App, Features Detailed, Xbox One Sales Revealed

Xbox One users will have something to look forward to with the launch of the Windows 10. Highlighting the launch of the newest Microsoft OS, Major Nelson announced that those who have an Xbox One console will be able to stream games with a Windows 10 PC or tablet.

This is complemented by the fact that the Xbox App on Windows 10 will also receive some new features to enhance the experience of multiple and cross-device gaming experience, Xbox's Major Nelson announced via the Xbox Wire.

The new game streaming feature will now be accessible to the public following its initial release in the preview program. What this brings is the ability to play games from one's existing Xbox One library on the Windows 10 PC. All that needs to be done is to enable game streaming onto other devices in the settings of the Xbox One and install the Xbox app on the Windows 10 device.

To link the Windows 10 device to the Xbox One console, simply click on Connect and Add a device on the menu of the Xbox App. Afterwards, attach an Xbox controller to the Windows 10 device and start the streaming session.

Also coming this month are the new features for the Xbox App on Windows 10. The new features that will be available for the Xbox app include the ability to initiate a party chat with friends, support for automated discover an addition of Windows Store games, customization options for one's profile, additional sharing options of game clips and screenshots with friends and a Day One Experience for new users of the Xbox ecosystem for the PC.

The Xbox One has recently experienced a boost in sales, reportedly during the week of E3 2015. This came Microsoft's own Aaron Greenberg, who had announced via Twitter that the Xbox One had actually outsold the PS4 during the aforementioned time period, Game Rant reported.

Greenberg expounded on this, stating that Xbox One sales rose by 79 percent more than how it did during the same week of the E3 2014. There are a lot of factors that can contribute to the rise in sales, including the games that have been announced for the Xbox One, the price cuts that the console and its bundle have received and the recently announced backwards compatibility feature.
