Fresh images of a dummy unit of the purported Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus have surfaced revealing the exact size of the device.
The photos of the forthcoming Samsung flagship that is also referred to as Galaxy S6 Edge were spotted at the German website All About Samsung. One of the images show the device placed alongside the last year's Galaxy Note 4. This shows that the height of the new dual-edge curved screen flagships is same as that of the Note 4.
Comparison with the Note 4 suggests that the alleged handset will be coming with a 5.7-inch display. However, the width of the newer handset seems to be less than of Note 4.The Galaxy S6 Edge that was released few months ago comes with a 5.1-inch screen.
Rumors claim that Exynos 7422 or Exynos 7420 chipset will be included and a Snapdragon 808 chipset may power up the device. The amount of RAM that will be made available on the device is not known yet.
The internal storage of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will be 32 GB. It will be running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The rear side of the handset will be sporting a 16 MP camera whereas the front will be housing a 5 MP camera. The size of the battery of the handset is unavailable at present.
Alongside the Galaxy Note 5, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is slated to be announced on Aug. 12. Recently, the device was spotted at FCC regulator body in the United States revealing that it will be through major carriers such as AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint, The Verge reported.
