The survey results of the research company Wristly indicate that Apple Watch owners have a 97 percent customer satisfaction rate. Among that record figure for first generation devices, exactly two-thirds were very satisfied, and about one-third were fairly happy about their purchase of the smartwatch wearable.
Wristly's survey included 800 of 1,000 panel members who completed the questionnaire. It published the results on July 19, Sunday.
The survey group included app builders, tech experts, non-tech users, and media members. Non-tech users made up the largest group.
A total of 97 percent of Watch buyers were satisfied with their purchase. Among that figure, 66 percent were "very satisfied," while 31 percent were "somewhat satisfied," according to The Star.
Meanwhile, 75 percent of the survey group said that the Watch was a "good" value. A much lower 14 percent said it was "very good" value. Finally, 12 percent judged it had a "poor" value.
In addition, models mattered. The wearable's standard version had much higher values than those of the Sports Watch.
Survey participants gave the Apple Watch very high marks for Build/Quality (80 percent), and Aesthetics/Design (74 percent). Meanwhile, Help/Support and Performance (speed/battery) got the lowest scores.
The satisfaction numbers for the Watch are the highest among all Apple first generation products it has launched, according to Marketing Land. That includes the iPad and iPhone.
Apple Inc. stocks slid sharply after the company released its quarterly report yesterday. Watch's sales figures were curiously missing from the numbers, implying that they were likely lower than projections by Wall Street analysts.
The iPhone remains the cash cow of the tech giant. In Q2 it sold over 47.5 million units worldwide.
