Taylor Swift frenemy Katy Perry joins in the already heated Twitter spat between Swift and Nicki Minaj by tweeting her stand on the Video Music Awards issue and allegedly questioning Swift along the way.

The "Prism" singer tweeted "Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalizes on the take down of a woman..." on June 23, Thursday. While the tweet is a bit confusing, a blog suggests that Perry thinks Swift is benefiting from Hollywood's double standards on women.

The same blog hinted that Swift's "Bad Blood", a song on two women with a broken relationship, might be about Swift and Perry. Swift once told Rolling Stones that "Bad Blood" is about another female artist.

Perry also mentions another female artist, Rihanna, saying that MVA was also unfair to the latter's song "Bitch Better Have My Money".

We can recall that Swift and Minaj started exchanging social media blows last June 21, Tuesday, after the Minaj's music video "Anaconda" failed to hold an MVA nomination for the Music Video of the Year category. The only nominees were Beyonce and Swift.

The "Anaconda" singer points to Hollywood's double standard for women as the reason for her failure to be nominated. She claims that non-black women with slim bodies get a better chance.

Swift, being the only white woman to be nominated in the category, quickly reacted "@NICKIMINAJ I've done nothing but love & support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot.."

A series of bittersweet tweets followed until Swift invited Minaj to join her on stage if she ever wins. Swift has nine MVA nominations this year while Minaj is nominated for Best Hip-Hop Video.
