Honda Invigorates Accord Sedan Incorporating Apple, Android Connectivity

Honda Motor Corporation launched a revitalized Accord Sedan at the opening of the company's extended Silicon Valley Lab.

In 2016, the midsize sedan model will have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bloomberg reported. Apple users can now utilize Phone, Messages, Maps, and Music as well as other applications off the 7-inch touchscreen display added to Sedan and Android fans can enjoy all most reputable Google applications, Fansided reported.

The model will also have Honda Sensing, the firm's name for the suite of safety and driver-helping technology that offers the vehicle semi-independent abilities, such as lane maintaining assistance and adaptive drive control that regulates to the speed of traffic.

The corporation called its front-end revitalization major and fans will find it so as well. There is a new design front including an all-new lightweight aluminum hood. The new model has outback, LED backlights standard and there is a refurbished behind bumper unveiling an ever so slight faux diffuser.

The Tokyo-based firm was ahead of Yokohama-based Nissan Motor Corporation in terms of US sales for the first half of the year by a meager 0.2 percent point. According to the president of Honda R&D Americas, Frank Paluch, technology is changing the auto industry.

"The actual value is eliminating collisions and fatalities," he said. "The company plans to reduce half the number of collisions involving Honda automobiles by 2030 and to wholly eradicate collisions twenty years later.

Furthermore, the company is offering modern features on certain trims. EX and beyond with autos receive remote start and Honda's new 7-inch screen, whereas sport trim and up will have 60/40 rear bench.
