The 4-inch iPhone 6C is rumored to arrive with a larger battery and premium design. iPhone fans still love the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C as they came with smaller form factor as it allows users to handle the handset with single hand while Apple is reportedly working on the alleged iPhone 6C.

Nothing much is known of the specifications of the device. However, it has been found that the handset will be fitted with a larger battery of 1,715 mAh capacity, Nowhereelse reported.

The 4.7-inch iPhone 6 comes with 1,810 mAh battery. The iPhone 5S is available with 1,560 mAh battery and the iPhone 5C came equipped with 1,510 mAh battery. Hence, it seems that the iPhone 6C will be able to last longer than the existing iPhone models.

The iPhone 6C will feature a metal chassis along with premium design. Another rumor suggests that the handset will be fitted with a camera sensor from Sony. It has been reported that the Japanese tech giant has already start the mass production of the camera sensors, Phone Arena reported.

This year, Apple is slated to unveil the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus in September. Industry experts claim that the demand for the upcoming iPhones is so high that newer models are expected to break all the previous iPhone sales records. Apple is also speculated to launch a successor model for its Apple Watch.

As far as the smaller iPhone 6C is concerned, speculations indicate that the handset will be releasing in the first half of 2016. Its launch may coincide with the unveil of the new Apple iPad tablets.
