LG G Pad 2, the successor of LG's G Pad 8.3 will be launched soon packing new and exciting features.

LG G Pad 2 is rumored to measure close to 8.3 inches and may sport a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, according to Tech Times.

The device is expected to be powered with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 805 processor along with a quad core CPU and an Adreno 420 CPU. The tablet may also sport an expandable memory of 32 GB. The device is also rumored to sport a 5 mega pixel front camera and an 8 mega pixel rear camera, according to The Ultra Doid.

It is further rumored to be equipped with Android 5.1 Lollipop. With an expected release date in October this year, the price of the tablet is yet to be decided.

In other LG related news, this will not be the only much-anticipated device being made by LG, which will be hitting the shelves this year. Two more devices are scheduled to be manufactured and released under the brand name of LG this year. Google's Nexus 5 2015 will be manufactured with LG's hardware. The device is expected to be power packed with killer specs and super overhauled features in comparison with the Google Nexus 5 first generation. Google Nexus 5 2015 is also expected to release in October, along with Android M out of the box.

In addition, LG is also planning to launch a variant for LG G4 this year, as the original device did not fare very well in the market. It will be built with super premium materials and will sport a screen of 5.8 inches, making it as good as a tablet. It is expected to be released in December.
