Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release was reportedly pushed back in October after the device went missing in action at the roll out of Windows 10 to the public.
Microsoft started rolling out the free Windows 10. This means that Windows user will receive Windows 10 updates. However, the public was disappointed that Microsoft Surface Pro 4 was not announced.
According to IT Pro, the 12-inch Surface Pro 4 tablet will have a miniature version. While the size of the screen is not specified, some of the purported specs and features were revealed. The display will most likely be a quad HD display. The report stated that the Surface Pro Mini will be powered by Intel Atom 64-bit chip or a Core M processor. This will deliver twice the graphic performance of previous Atom chips.
There is also a chance that the miniature tablets will be powered by Broadwell or Skylake chipsets. The latter is reported to arrive later this year.
Meanwhile, the 12-inch Surface Pro 3 will surely have a successor. Some of the purported features of the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 are: 12-inch screen display with 2K pixel resolution, Intel Skylake processor, stylus, and USB Type-C port. Other rumored features are keyboard accessory, Type Cover 3 and Docking Station. Other purported features of the tablet are 16GB RAM and up to 1TB internal storage.
Recent rumors claimed that Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release will be in October, while some reports stated that the new generation of laplet will be announced next year. However, Microsoft has not revealed the official specs and features of the device until now.
