Floyd Mayweather, Jr. claims that his fight in September will be his last as Amir Khan claims that "Money" is afraid of him.

Amir Khan has been calling out for a shot at Floyd Mayweather, Jr since last year and he has always been shunned in favor of other fighters, including Manny Pacquiao.

Thus, Amir khan spoke to Gulf News to boldly declare the same thing that Manny Pacquiao accused "Money" of: Mayweather is scared of him.

"He's 100 per cent scared," Khan claims. "I think Mayweather knows that I'd give him the hardest fight of his career and probably beat him."

Khan cited several factors, including hand speed, movement, skill, accuracy and power as reasons why his style would give "the worst fight" for the undefeated boxer.

Khan claimed that Mayweather's choice to fight Andre Berto in September was Money's way to save his record, but he will be ending his career on "a low note" as Berto would not give him any problems.

It seems that Khan is no longer hoping to face Mayweather and he has placed his attention on Kell Brooks and possibly Manny Pacquiao later on in 2016 when the latter has recovered from his injury, as Khan told the National (via Boxing Scene):

"There have been talks of an Amir Khan fight in Dubai for many years now, Everyone knows my position: I am ready to fight if they are serious about it. Bob Arum has contacted my team to fight Manny Pacquiao around March or April in Dubai. Let's see how that develops."

Khan still takes a parting shot: "Since Floyd is running scared, I want Pacquiao in 2016 when he is back from his injury; 2016 will be Amir Khan's year; you will see me in two of the biggest fights in that year."

It's unlikely that one of those fights will feature Mayweather.
