Partnership: BMW, Apple Creating New Car?

Apple, the world's top gadget maker partnered with the sophisticated automaker, BMW. The two companies reportedly have  some talks about BMW's i3. BMW's feature that forgets how to crash and how to park, which may lead to jointly creating a vehicle.

According to Engadget, Apple is interested in BMW's idea of conventional car manufacturing process of its electric vehicles. While BMW has not confirmed any talks about possible partnership creating a car with Apple.

The research said that the companies do not want to open its ecosystem to avoid potential rival. It is obviously beneficial for both companies to have a partnership, Apple knows a lot about integrating mobile technology and user interfaces in cars while BMW has established creating luxurious cars.

Currently, BMW has features powered by Apple. The BMW Link App, an easy to use landscape format which allows listening to the music using an iPhone. It also allows making calls while on the road with the iPhone handset and provides weather information, BMW reported.

The other feature is BMW Connected which allows numerous functions like Facebook, web, Twitter, Vehicle Finder and last Mile Navigation while on the road. BMW's iDrive System secures applications to be safe and easy to use while on the road, simply plug the iPhone via USB and then use the iDrive Controller to navigate.

Future technology has a lot to bring to simplify needs and make life easier. Apple and BMW may have something stored for the future, how about an Apple designed Beemer or an Apple car with loads of BMW-sourced parts?
