Bobbi Kristina Brown has been laid to rest beside her mother, the late legendary singer Whitney Houston, at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield amid reports that a photo of her lying in the casket has been sold to an unidentified tabloid for $100,000.
The celeb-child was brought into the cemetery on the morning of Aug. 3, Monday, in gold-colored hearse which was followed by a bunch of cars carrying her father, Bobby Brown, and other close family members, including Cissy Houston, Pat Houston and the late singer's cousin Dionne Warwick.
A small crowd, local residents, fans and media personnels, waited outside the cemetery to pay their last respect to Bobbi Kristina, who has died tragically on July 26 after remaining unresponsive since Jan. 31, when she was found face down in the bathtub of her home. Her mother was also found dead in the eerily similar circumstances and was brought to the same cemetery in the similar fashion.
A local resident told NJ.com that police seems to be better prepared this time as there was a huge commotion at the time of Whitney's burial. On Aug. 1, Saturday, the family held a funeral service for the final viewing where the close family members held a close watch that no one can click the pic of the celeb-child lying in the casket.
Despite the tight security, someone took a picture of Bobbi Kristina and auctioned off for more than $100,000 to a publication, TMZ reported. The Houstons and Browns are reportedly blaming each other for the stunt, a similar of which had happened during the funeral of Whitney after which her pic lying in the casket was published across multiple tabloids.
