Alien movies will reach the fans in the next two years and Ridley Scott is at the center of production of the Alien movie product directed by Neill Blomkamp, who is reputable for his excellent work in "Chappie" and "District 9".

There are speculations that Scott will produce both Prometheus 2 and Neill Blomkamp's Alien 5, IGN reported.

Usually, there are long pauses between Alien films, but Xenomorph enthusiasts have something to smile about as the untitled movies, "Alien 5" and "Prometheus 2", undergo development at the same time by Blomkamp and Scott respectively.

In a recent interview with Empire, the director of "Alien 5" assured fans that the film will not tread on the toes of "Prometheus 2". Blomkamp pointed out that the two directors are working closely to eliminate overlaps in the two movies that will be produced at the same time.

"Realizing that Ridley Scott is producing "Alien 5", I edited something that he felt was reflecting Prometheus to some level," Blomkamp said.

Even though Blomkamp acknowledges that the initial movies meant a lot to him, he makes a joke about the upcoming movie that it could be called "Alien 3". Terri Tatchell, Blomkamp's wife shares her concerns as well, especially the reason why her husband settled on Alien 5 as his next project.

According to Tatchell, Blomkamp is stitching and hawing because there is an aspect of back and forth movement in the anticipated film. Blomkamp seems to make his family do the same things as they did in the previous movies, particularly drinking the same type of juice using the same glasses in some scenes of the movie.

Seemingly, "Prometheus 2" will differ from "Alien 5" because it will have a screenplay from Michael Green, and at the same time reprise the roles of Jack Paglen, Michael Fassbender, and Noomi Rapace. Prometheus 2 will be set in space and new world since Scott aims at expanding the universe as opposed to backtracking.
