Jamie Bell, who is playing Ben Grimm/The Thing and Michael B. Jordan, who is playing the role of Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, have shared the villains they want their characters to face in the sequel of the upcoming film "Fantastic Four."
In his interview with Comic Book, Bell said that he wanted to see Silver Surfer as villain in the "Fantastic Four" film sequel. It is possible for Silver Surfer to share the big screen with the titular superhero film in a sequel, as it had been possible in Tim Story's "Rise of the Silver Surfer" in 2007.
In the "Fantastic Four #48" comics, Silver Surfer served as a messenger to Galactus, the world eater. It came to a point where Silver Surfer turned his back against his principal and aided the titular superhero team stop Galactus from destroying the planet.
Bell's co-star, Jordan, told Comic Book that it would be great to have a face-off with Namor the Sub-Mariner. The actor said that the Namor's belief as the world's strongest mutant, as well as his obsession with Sue Storm, makes him an invincible villain in the "Fantastic Four" sequel.
Namor is a combined ally and adversary to the Fantastic Four, which gave him a complex bond with the superhero team, as per Cinema Blend. However, due to a previous history of Marvel selling the Namor's film rights to Universal, seeing the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is cloudy at this point.
Along with Bell and Jordan, "Fantastic Four" stars Miles Teller as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Kate Mara as Sue/Invisible Woman, and Toby Kebbell as the villain Doctor Doom.
Trank's "Fantastic Four" is showing in theaters while a sequel is slated to premiere in theaters on June 9, 2017.
