‘Game Of Thrones' Season 6 'The Winds Of Winter' Release Date Revealed, George R. R. Martin Feels The Pressure

“The Winds of Winter” is the sixth installment of the of “A Song of Ice and Fire,” the basis of HBO’s popular series “Game of Thrones.”

"The Winds of Winter" author George R. R. Martin is feeling the pressure for the release of his latest novel. The book is the sixth installment of the of "A Song of Ice and Fire," the basis of HBO's popular series "Game of Thrones."  

Martin skipped writing for the HBO's hit "Game of Thrones" because he focused on finishing the book 'The Winds Of Winter." He now feels the pressure of being responsible for completing the whole story. "Game of Thrones Season 6" series is currently on production in Northern Ireland.

Rumors said that Martin has totally completed "The winds of winter". The novelist also confirmed that the upcoming seasons were already planned, but it is yet to be written. He also advised fans not to believe in rumors.

The head of HBO's program thinks that the show will last for only  two years. Martin preferred seven books in his series. Producers feel that there maybe another two years after the season six, US Magazine reported.

The fantasy novel series set is in seven kingdoms of Westeros and Essos, a large eastern continent. The story follows civil wars between several Noble houses of the seven kingdoms until the last scion of the kingdom set out ruling dynasty to get back the throne.

Martin's posts on his Not a Blog leaves a lot of questions to the fans who are patiently waiting for both the book and "Game of Thrones" next season. He said that he will be traveling and his minions are left busy in homestead  toiling in the paper mines. 

The four seasons of the series  yields numerous award like Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Drama Series, a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Television Series - Drama, a Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation, and a Peabody Award.

There is no definite release date that has been confirmed for the book "Winds of Winter." But fans were all excited for the "Game of Thrones" season 6 which is expected to air in 2016.
