`Chandelier’ Dance Sensation Maddie Ziegler – The Next Hot Teen Model & Fashion Mogul?

| Aug 10, 2015 09:02 AM EDT

"Chandelier" dance star Maddie Ziegler, who is shown with "Pan" actor Levi Miller, is touted as the next teen model and artist to watch.

Maddie Ziegler, who awed viewers of Sia's "Chandelier" and "Elastic Heart" videos and appeared at the recent Grammy Awards, has added runway model to her portfolio. She was among the participating models at the Polo Ralph Lauren Fall 2015 Children's Show.

Though fans know Ziegler, 12, as the eye-riveting young dancer clad in nude leotards in Sia's "Chandelier" video, she is no neophyte in the modelling world. The professional tween dancer and "Dance Moms" reality series star has modelled for several brands, including Sally Miller. Ziegler and her sister have also come out last year with their own fashion line called The Maddie & Mackenzie Collection.

Ziegler has been attending dance class since she was a toddler. She has had a long-standing preference for certain apparel brands, notably Capezio, Teen Vogue reported.

At the Polo Ralph Lauren fashion event held at Central Park Zoo in New York City, Ziegler sashayed down the catwalk with her sister Mackenzie, wearing chic teen outfits with matching pirate hats, Elle reported. A few months earlier, she gamely covered the 2015 New York Fashion Week as fashion correspondent.

It was evident that the Pennsylvania-born breakout star was having the time of her life. As she wrote in her Instagram account, it was an honor for her to be part of a fashion legend's show. Lifestyle and fashion magazines raved about Ziegler and "Pan" star Levi Miller, calling them the next wave of artists to watch. Ziegler's posts of her recent modelling gig on Instagram garnered over 219,000 likes.

From a chart-topping singer-songwriter's favorite dancer, reality star, and brand ambassador to runway model, Ziegler has shown that she can happily straddle careers. Whether she keeps her tween modelling tricks up her sleeve, continue dancing and starring in reality shows, or make the leap to acting, one thing looks certain: her growing number of fans will cheer her on.
