Sony is letting players vote for their favorite game, which will be included in the monthly PS Plus free games offers.

PS4 users may be looking at a new major update that follows up from the PS4 2.0 Update dubbed as Yukimura. The new details have been leaked from what appears to be a pre-release beta test in Japan.

A couple of new features are coming, among the most significant of which is the addition of events and community, Gematsu reported. Events will enable PS4 players to see related events from the main menu. For Community, this is already added to the Friends menu, allowing PS4 users to create or join a community for discussions on games.

Player interaction and information are also now made possible. The Now Playing addition will show what other users are playing, with the additional option to request to view another user's gameplay. Broadcasting to YouTube and uploading up to 10 seconds of video footage on Twitter has also been enabled. A screenshot of the original features and fixes list can be seen in the link above.

More than the upcoming update, Sony has released some official updates for its newest PlayStation Plus promo, the Vote to Play. The new promo will give subscribers the power to choose one of the three free PS4 games in the upcoming month, PlayStation Blog reported.

Sony has already laid out the games that are included in the voting lineup. There's the tactical RPG "Armello," the anticipated "Grow Home" and "Stick It To the Man!' creator's other title "Zombie Vikings."

Voting lines will already be open as early as Aug. 13 and will end on Aug. 24. Given the nature of the promo, only PS Plus members will get a shot at voting. To do this, PS Plus subscribers will only need to log on to the PS4 via the PSN account. From there, the Vote to Play tab can be seen via the What's New" and "Notifications" tab.

The game that will receive the most number of votes will be part of the September PS Plus lineup. And as earlier promised, the two runners-up titles will still be up for grabs at a discounted price.
