McLaren To Show Off 2 570S Coupes At Pebble Beach

The McLaren 570S is a sports car designed and manufactured by McLaren Automotive.

The famed McLaren Special Operations personalization department is once again in the limelight of the motoring world after it was reported that the team is preparing to launch two new 570S Coupes at the annual Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.

The first of the 570S Coupe sports a color that closely resembles purple to which McLaren dubbed Mauvine Blue. The 570S is a modestly priced and slightly less powerful variant of the 650S. The car has a V8 twin-turbo 3.8-liter engine to which the company claims can reach zero to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds. Additionally, the car checks out a top speed of 204 mph.

The 570S will fetch a price tag of $184,000. McLaren will also release a different model that sports a carbon black interior although this model will cost a little bit more. McLaren will also release a Ventura Orange model of the car that features a style detail from the McLaren Special Operations division.

On the same event, McLaren will also feature one of the rare 675LT cars which is the lightest of all street-legal variant of the Super Series.

The McLaren Super Series was designed to compete with the Ferrari California T and other high-end models of the Porsche 911 and the Aston Martin Vantage, according to Motor Authority.

According to Slash Gear, McLaren will only manufacture 500 units of the car. Reports claim that all the 500 units were already sold. Additionally, the company is will also show off an even rarer Le Mans 650S to which only 50 units will be manufactured.
