Following the teaser from Japanese magazine Weekly Shonen Jump, which featured Sasuke's story mode, a new batch of official screenshots have been released for "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4." This time, Bandai Namco has given fans a sneak peek of the timeline of the story mode and featured more shots of Sasuke in the process.
The reveal also hinted that the free roam will no longer continue for "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4," DualShockers reported. As far as what the developer has added in its place has yet to be confirmed.
Fans who have been wondering why "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" was delayed, publisher Bandai Namco has already provided an explanation for the delay. It appears that developer CyberConnect 2 needs more time to deliver even better results for the series' fourth installment, Game Idealist reported.
"This move will allow the talented development team at CyberConnect 2 to push the limits of the game, delivering the most authentic and up-to-date content ever seen in an 'Ultimate Ninja Storm' series game," said Bandai Namco in a statement quoted by the publication.
To compensate for this, there are a few more screenshots featuring Boruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha, playable characters that players can access via preorders. The two additional players are only available as preorder bonuses, with reports confirming that they will not be sold as separate expansion characters after "Naruto Shippudem Ultimate Ninja Story 4" launches.
The delay has pushed back the release of "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" to Feb. 9, 2016. It is already available for preorders, and will hit the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
