LA Galaxy's Steven Gerrard

Major League Soccer team LA Galaxy will try to follow-up their dominating opening day win with another stellar performance in the 2015-2016 CONCACAF Champions League as they encounter Guatemalan club CSD Comunicaciones on Tuesday.

Los Galácticos will parade their new-look and more intimidating lineup composed of new acquisitions Steven Gerrard and Giovani dos Santos in the second matchday of the tournament at the StubHub Center in Carson.

Gerrard was acquired by the Galaxy in January of this year and it has so far paid dividends in the MLS. However, the recent addition of Mexico international dos Santos made the team's offense even more superior than it already is.

Los Angeles broke the back of Trinidad and Tobago champions Central FC in their previous CCL game, 5-1, as dos Santos scored a goal in his Galaxy CCL debut, via the MLS official website. Gerrard did not play that time, but he is reportedly going to be fielded in by Bruce Arena in this match.

Meanwhile, Los Cremas was coming off a 0-1 loss to fellow Liga Nacional de Fútbol club CD Suchitepéquez on Wednesday at their home field of Estadio Cementos Progreso in Guatemala City, as per Soccerway.

On paper, William Coito Olivera's men will be no match to the star-studded Galaxy squad especially it Arena plays them in full strength, but they can always use pure grit to somehow give the LA boys a great game.

The prediction is a 4-0 Galaxy beating of Comunicaciones. LA is almost unbeatable in their home turf and there is only so much the Guatemalans can do before they get blown away in Carson.

LA Galaxy starting lineup (4-4-2 formation): Rowe; Garcia, Meyer, González, DelaGarza; Mendiola, Walker, Juninho, Gerrard; Zardes, dos Santos

Comunicaciones starting lineup (5-3-2 formation): Paredes; Benítez, Castrillo, Gallardo, Morales, Arriola; Miranda, Contreras, Gómez; Ordóñez, Herrera
