Leaked Pic From The Sets Of 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'

Crushing the rumors that Luke Skywalker has somehow lost his way to "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," a new pic of Mark Hamill has been leaked from the sets in which he is sporting a traditional Jedi robe.

Walt Disney Pictures is said to have maintained a tight security on the sets to avoid any leak of the plot or pictures. However, a picture is recently posted by Star Wars 7 News which showed Hamill standing amid cameras in front of light-colored backdrop. The light color scheme also seems to suggest that the twin brother of Princess Leia has not turned to the Dark Side in the upcoming installment of "Star Wars."

The pic does not appear to be of an action shot but seems to be a sneak peek from a 3D imaging session, owing to the slew of camera surrounding him.

Since the announcement of the "Star Wars" trilogy in October 2012, the fate of Luke Skywalker was a topic of heated debate among the space opera fans. With no photos or videos to confirm his appearance in the upcoming flick, conflicting news were reported regarding the character's involvement from time to time.

Meanwhile, the director of the hotly-anticipated movie has teased his fans during an interview with Entertainment Weekly that the movie's plot will feature a very important device, lightstabber, which is now in possession with Princess Leia. Lightstabber was separated from Luke's father Darth Vader in the 1980's "Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back."

The movie is set to hit the theatres on Dec. 18.
