Robert Upshaw is an interesting player, but he still might have to wait to become a part of the team. The latest Los Angeles Lakers rumors are here and they are about potential additions and more.
Fresh update about Robert Upshaw was shared by BasketballInsiders.com's Eric Pinus. According to his tweet, the LA Lakers have no plans to sign him, however the possibility still exists.
"I hear the Lakers have no immediate plan to sign undrafted center Robert Upshaw, though he still remains a possibility," Pincus tweeted.
Earlier, Lakers were interested in Upshaw and signed him for the summer. Lakers were praised for getting him on board despite the fact that he has his issues. However, he is 250 pounds and 7'0" tall and has the capability to showcase his skills on the court, noted Bleacher Report.
Upshaw has potential, but it has to be seen if he will be given a chance by the Los Angeles Lakers. He is a center and the team already have players like Roy Hibbert who has backup in the form of Robert Sacre and Tarik Black.
Meanwhile, the Lakers may be looking to add some new faces and they are interested in having Eric Moreland, who is a free agent. Due to an injury, he could not spend much time on the job with Sacramento Kings.
However, after getting physically fit, he has 8.0 rebounds with 2.0 blocks and averaged 6.4 points. It has to be seen if he will join the team or not, but it is clear that Los Angeles Lakers want to add more players tothe roster.
