“Dance Moms” alum Nia Frazier just released the music video for “Slay,” a follow up to her hit single “Star In Your Own Life.” ALDC member JoJo Siwa, as well as her mom Holly, was seen in the music video. The 14-year-old singer revealed that she wanted more of her former cast members and friends to make a cameo but Abby Lee Miller would not allow it.

In an interview with the International Business Times, Frazier revealed that she was surprised when she found out that Siwa would be in the music video. She shared that although she considers her a good friend, she was shocked that Miller allowed her to take on the project.

Frazier said that she has long wanted to work with her "Dance Moms" co-star again. She, however, explained that it may not happen soon given that the ALDC coach does not want anything to do with her. The dancer claimed that Miller does not want the other girls to be a part of any of her upcoming projects.

Miller has criticized Frazier's decision to leave the Lifetime reality series and pursue her music career. The dancer, however, said that she remains hopeful that they will be able to patch things up. She shared that she has not seen her former coach for a long while and said that she still believed that Miller still supports her even if she would not show it.

Meanwhile, speaking to Wetpaint, Frazier said that she hoped that the new song would inspire her fans to always remain positive and be true to themselves. She added that one should always strive to be the best person that s/he could be.
