As Chapter 448 ends, a big revelation leads to more questions whose answers will lie in Chapter 449.
The Fairy Tail Guild take time to celebrate right before they charge into battle against the Alvarez Empire.
As the battle cry is raised, Makarov has one final revelation before he was interrupted-by Mavis, the first Guild master.
She has a confession to make, about a sin! The implication is that it can shake the foundations of Fairy Tail itself!
"It's time I reveal everything... a story about a cursed boy, and a cursed girl... the story about the One Magic the both of them desired..."
With that, Chapter 448 ends and Chapter 449 will feature "Mavis and Zeref."
The big questions for Chapter 449: What is the "sin" that Mavis was talking about? Why is a "single magic" leading to "light and darkness?"
Some predictions put forth in Manga Helpers Forum has "using magic to resurrect the dead" according to user "amitnaruto" who stated: "well the likely sin is the ability to resurrect the dead Natsu in Zeref's case and Serena/Zera in the case of Mavis."
It was also notable that Makarov tried to interrupt Mavis' when she wanted to make the revelation, which leads us to: "I hope this time around Mavis reveals the truth of Natsu. Clearly Makarov knows that Natsu is end and I hope Mavis will now reveal the truth to everyone so that everyone is properly prepared for the time and how to deal with the situation."
The revelation is concerned with "why Zeref is after it (Fairy Heart) and her(Mavis) sin." There is also a "cursed boy and girl." Is that Mavis and Zeref--or Natsu and Lucy?
