Major League Soccer 2015: Montreal Impact vs Philadelphia Union, Preview, Prediction and Predicted Lineup

Montreal Impact's newly-transferred striker from Chelsea, Didier Drogba.

Montreal Impact (8-9-4, 28 points) returns to Major League Soccer 2015 regular season action by hosting the struggling Philadelphia Union (6-13-6, 24 points) on August 22 at the Saputo Stadium in Montreal, Canada.

Frank Klopas is reportedly intending to field in newly-transferred striker from English Premier League champions Chelsea, Didier Drogba, on Saturday against the U, as per Global News.

Drogba had been attending the Impact's practice sessions since he was acquired almost a month ago, but this marks his debut game with the Canadian Club.

Montreal had been a weekend away from MLS competitions after they faced the Vancouver Whitecaps in the final of this year's Canadian Championship. Impact settled for a 2-2 draw at Saputo against the Caps in the first leg. The second is scheduled on August 26 at the BC Place in Vancouver to decide the winner.

Philadelphia is fighting out of the cellar in the East, being a point above last-place team Chicago Fire.

Union's most recent game was a 3-3 draw versus the Fire at their home field, via NBC Sports' Pro Soccer Talk, which is not a good sign considering the situation of both squads. Jim Curtin's team is currently on a five-game winless streak which seems to have no end in sight.

The predicted result is a 3-1 win by Montreal over Philadelphia. If Drogba actually appears, then the score may be wider than expected.

Montreal Impact starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): Kronberg; Oyongo, Lefevre, Ciman, Toia; Donadel, Reo-Coker; Duka, Venegas, Tissot; Drogba

Philadelphia Union starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): McCarthy; Gaddis, Vitória, Marquez, Fabinho; Creavalle, Carroll; Ayuk Mbu, Maidana, Barnetta; Aristeguieta
